Appointment Information

 

First Visit
The initial appointment lasts approximately one and one half to two hours. It consists of an in-depth interview focusing on your current symptoms, your medical history, lifestyle issues, and dietary habits. A physical examination will also be performed. Typically, at the end of the first visit, bloodwork and other pertinent specialty testing will be ordered.

 

Follow-Up Visits

The first follow-up visit usually takes place 2 to 3 weeks after your initial appointment and typically lasts 60 minutes. At this time we will review your test results in detail and start you on a comprehensive treatment program. Subsequent follow-up visits are generally 30 minutes in length and will be scheduled as necessary, based upon your individual healthcare needs. Telephone consultations can also be arranged.

 

Scope of Practice

Please be advised that our services are intended to complement those provided by your primary care physician; therefore, all patients are urged to maintain their relationship with their primary care provider. As a consultant in Integrative Medicine, Dr. Bruley is in the office by appointment only, and is not available to handle urgent or emergency medical situations. In the event of sudden illness or emergency, patients are expected to contact their primary physician and/or go to the nearest Emergency Room. We appreciate your understanding.
